Could not explain anything to a person,there's no way to speak to anyone period.....!!!!!!!

I did not receive my order. and I also had my bank account compromised and I have had to wait for a new card and my husband just passed away. So when I receive my order I will let you know if I can get you a message to restart my payment in about 2 weeks giving them time to send my skincare supplements. TMS is a total mess, their customer service is horrible. They put you on hold for hours without resolving your issues. Their customer service reps are super rude and impolite. They are all over the place and completely disorganized and don't know what they are doing. The only thing they know is ripping off small businesses and sucking every penny they earn. I don't know how these criminals sleep at night.

Big Ripoff

TMS worst company ever. I called today to cancel my account after 11 years and got hit with a $195.00 early termination fee. I was on the phone for 58 minutes, 26 mins b4 they picked up the phone and the rest of the time being put on hold while they looked something up. I told them that it was a disgrace how they were demanding this early termination fee, constantly claiming it was the contract we signed 11 years ago! I don’t remember what the agent told us but I definitely don’t recall anything about the contact rolling over. Finally they put me on hold again and this time hung up on me. Will call again tomorrow as nothing was resolved. I am too upset to do anything today. Just let me say : If you’re thinking of using this company..don’t!

TOTAL MERCHANT CALIFORNIA LIES AND SCAMS AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL

I first signed up with Total Merchant Services California beginning of this year ONLY because what the agent had informed me sounded so good but sounded to good to be true!! My original agreement was seasoning and my monthly fee would of been $35 a month, also supposedly there were gonna be new rules and regulations coming out soon for EBT app, but if I signed up right then and there now, she said I would beat the new questions that is needed. Well, after paying $250 to have my EBT app sent in and to have the machine send to me. My nightmare quickly came, and when the machine came in. I had called back and what would you know "NO AGENT". So I contacted customer service and they informed me that I am in a 3 year contract which I did not agreed too!! I wanted to be monthly seasonal, and my monthly fees were $70 a month, not $35!! AND I did not beat the timeline for the EBT app. I had to search for additional informing that was needed and by time I had gathered everything. My EBT app was kicked to the side, so I'm sitting on a TOTAL MERCHANT credit card machine which is draining $70 from my account and I am a small business starting up struggling and this happens. I have tried to get in contact with Corrina, but she does not work in the same department and they said she will contact me back which is a lie! Because I have been waiting for months and no answer from my original agent. Even Grace the "supervisor" of Corrina wasn't much help. She kept basically saying I'm "SOL" because the contract had been signed and she did not want to help give customer service at all!! So, now I'm going back and forth between the Agent Grace and Total Marchant Customer Service and its she said against what they said. I'm basically in the middle getting nowhere to get this problem resolved while the lying scamming company is charging me $70 a month for a machine I am not using. I believe I had talked to dozen of Total Merchant Customer Service Reps and I always get the same result which is nothing done!! and they alway send me back to Grace who I will WARN anyone do not work with and DO NOT WORK WITH TOTAL MERCHANT SERVICES. If you look up the reviews for this company, they have very bad reviews and others who have been scammed just like me. My only mistake was not looking up this company first. Cancellation fee is additional $998, I guess thats how this company stay up float by tricking hard working small businesses owners and stealing their money.

I was flat out lied to by the salesman. Once he had left me shop I took a quiet minute to read everything again. Everything in the fine print contradicted everything he had told me. Then the equipment arrived, totally different than they said. Was supposed to be cordless handheld , was wired big desk model. I called and canceled. It had only been 2 days. Salesman said I had 30 days. They said to send everything back. I happened to notice charges coming out of my account under a different name. Very small amounts to start with then larger and varied charges. They took over 2000. from my account before I could get it stopped. They were rude and so hateful. Told the fraud department person, too bad I let them do it. They said oh don't worry about sending back equipment , I see you have. Still sent letters threatening me over equipment. She told me to contact the BBB. What a joke. No help. They just said things like, if you have cable but don't watch you still have to pay. In the end they sent back 2 months they had taken the smallest amount. Still stole 2000. I hope someone will start a class action suit against them. Small business like myself are helpless against the big time crooks.

We had tje same thing happen to us. We decided we didn't want their service the day after we got the agreement.

When we got the machine we didnt even open bix just sent it back along with an email to our "account manager" stating we would like to cancel our service. We got no reply only charges from our account. We had our bank stpp payment on their accoint and continued to call trying to get it resolved. We finally were given a name and number to a man named jason who we are pretty positive doesnt exist.

We left around 30 messages for him and never heard back.

Today theor collections called we explaind to him again and he had notes from our previous calls and gave us another number to call and then transferred us to an extention that didnt exist. We called back and after 5 minutes the line just went dead.

Failed services

I got to the fuel station at alapere and was informed that total card service was not available because of an upgrade. I think its a huge disappointment. No information no customer satisfaction, money is just locked up. Its a huge shame

These people are crooks. They did not give detailed information up front about what you are getting contracted into. They hide information very well. No wonder they are one of the richest companies. They steel from their clients. We recently switched to a new merchange processor. I noticed charges still on my account from Total Merchant Servcies. I called them up and found out in 2017 that they have been charging us a monthy fee of just over $100, since 2014, that was not suposed to be charged. I spent about an hour getting transfered from person to person trying to figure out the mess. The last lady I got to basically told me it was my fault, I should have caught it and too bad for me. They will not do anything about the money they have gotten from me over the past few years. I am sure they are collecting all kinds of money from unsuspection people. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had. They could care less about small business.

I contracted with this merchant services company to handle customer charge purchases in April of 2009, using the service for two stores until we sold one store in December, 2010. I canceled one account but continued to use this company for the other store, for 6 more years until I contacted them in mid-2015 and advised that I was closing my store. I was told by Total Merchant Services' female representative that my contract would be up at the end of the year, which is NOT in my contract, which only states that I can cancel with 30 days' notice. I argued with her and she said I could just let the account be without any activity, and it would cost only $10/month from June through December, for a total of $60. Thereafter, Total Merchant Services, without my authority, withdrew $69.00 from my account twice! --$140.00+. I had to put a stop on TMS withdrawals on my account. I got a call from a male representative I talked to said that the woman had told me there was another step to keep from paying extra. Not true at all. They have turned this over to now 3 collection companies trying to steal more money from me. The Internet shows multiple complaints similar to mine. this is a company that steals from small businesses and then steals more money from their accounts by way of the auto-draws that were set up, then demands more money.

They offering FREE Credit Card Terminals, at a low rate! With no Cancellation fee!

Yea, right! This is a Scam... They get a foot in the door, and you spend the next six months fighting false fee's. Beware of Salesman Timothy Jones, he is not Good...

This company Total Merchant Services promised me a low rate, free Terminal, no contract, and I could cancel at any time. Two months later they send a New Machine, Timothy Jones calls, said he is saving me money. Have you gotten the New Updated Terminal. We took the old out put the new in.

There was a return FedEx Label in the 1st Terminal, so I returned it. Later, I realized that I was with a New Company BanCard North America. Mr. Jones, forgot to mention that as well as the new rates.

I changed Companies, in June. August 2016 they charged me, tried again in Sept. 2016 for the ampount of $148.00 plus $187.00 fee and I stopped payment on that. They called told me I had ten days to return equipment and account would be closed.

I returned the equipment. Five months later I get a call tag for the 1st equipment that I had sent back. Now, I'm being billed $944.87. I call them to correct the bill.

Find out I owe this other Company for $384. plus cents for not Canceling my account. What?

& Who? Have I been talking to?

This is the most deceptive and unprofessional company I have ever encountered. That closed my account because the said one of my customers name did not match the name on the account . Even after I provided all the information showing otherwise. On top of this , they are holding over a thousands dollars of my funds for 180 days for I don't know what. I tried to refund the transactions nback to the customers since most of them prepaid for the service , but the would not release the funds back to the customers, stating they had to hold the funds t cover charge backs from payments that I already received . Go figure. So now these customers are responsible for potential chargebacks of other customers?These people really are crooks . STAY AWAY

This company told me they would help me get leads, from there special program they had setup. Nobody help me, I had call them three times.

But company is scam. Watch out for your money. They also expensive for there services. They charged my business account every month for $59.71.

Don't work with this company! Be aware of Total Merchant.

Total Merchant Ripoff.

I signed up for their online cart and credit card processing service. After being dissatisfied with their fee structure, poor customer support and poor user interface, and inability to easily interface with common web builders such as Weebly, Godaddy or Vista Print. I sent written notice to cancel my account, as per the contract. They are now attempting to collect an "early cancellation fee" even though the contract I signed simply states that only written notice is required to close an account. We are still fighting this. They sent me a copy of the contract, and I was in full compliance by sending written notice. DO NOT USE THEM. Use PayPal, Cube, Stripe or any other company.

While we hate to lose merchants, we despise unnecessary fees even more! That is why our early termination fee is so simple.

Process during your written 30 day notice period and your account is closed with ZERO penalties. Is it possible you may not have fulfilled your end of the agreement by continuing to process through the closure period- that is the only reason you would have been charged a fee.

VERY disappointing on 2 counts- #1- we lost the opportunity to be of service and 2- having to apply fees when they are so easily avoided. We hope you are having a great experience with the new processor.

I was told i would only pay 1.39 % on all transactions but each transactions is over 4% and when i do not have any transactions they still charge me almost $80.00 per month even when i have no transactions then they threaten to charge me with early termination fee of $399.00 Then today i get a email telling me they are changing the terms and agreement of my contract which should be illegal because thats not the agreement i signed I would like anyone to know that you SHOULD NOT do business with these CROOKS unless you feel like being ripped off by these SCAMMERS JUST BEWARE OF TOTAL MERCHANTS

Welp, after calling and complaining the only thing that worked in the end was blasting them on social media. I still would not recommend this company but they did give me my money back. Some advice for future patrons would be to get everything in writing/email,...

The hoops that I've jumped through and the hours wasted trying to fight with this deceitful company is unimaginable! When I called to see how to cancel without having to pay an early termination fee, I was told a certain date to a certain date (Jan8-March8 for example).

So like the cheap, busy savvy person I am, I waited. It was only a couple of months so it made sense. Apparently the women who told me all of this lied to me because now they charged me a cancellation fee and even tried to get away with charging me for returned terminals!! They offer no solutions and don't communicate well within the company.

I cannot type all what's wrong with this company.
